Aftermath Philosophy

Aftermath Baseball emerged with a vision of offering an environment and culture where developing, young players can learn from mistakes and be given an opportunity to grow into their potential. Along the way each player is supported and guided by coaches and staff that are fully committed to this philosophy. The emphasis is less on recruiting a group of players that will get the team the desirable stats and awards but more on players who show promise, have the right attitude and are supportive of their teammates' development. Each player understands and accepts that everyone is in a different stage in their development and that they need to be there for each other. When a player is having an off day the others rally to pick them back up.

 

Aside from fostering a conducive environment Aftermath Baseball also looks after each player's health. For example, pitching duties are spread around the team throughout the tournament to ensure low pitch count per weekend per player. The same goes for catching duties to ensure the players' knees and legs stay fresh and injury free. Aftermath Baseball ensures each player gets the reps to get better  but none of the excess that can cause injuries.
